Hi, my name is Catherine. Three years ago, we had our second child and although our first child wasn’t the best sleeper, we were definitely not prepared for our second. It wasn’t long after Jaxon arrived that he started having trouble sleeping. From his moro reflex to his potential dairy intolerance, it seemed like there was always just one more reason for his inability to settle. Not only was the household tired, but there was such a large strain on the relationships within the house, including our newly found one with our beautiful little boy. It was a tense Christmas period when we finally threw in the towel and made a call to a sleep coach.
It wasn’t long before the coaching began and we were excited to get started but also doubting that someone could make such a change in such a short amount of time. Although we got fast positive results and Jaxon was sleeping well, the methods to get there felt harsh. The support we received felt belittling and left me feeling like I had failed as a mum.
After the incredible change this made to our lives and the impact it had, I realised that I wanted to find a way that I could provide this same relief to others, in the same time frame, but in a way that is nurturing, loving and gentle. I didn’t want parents to feel the way I did, I want them to feel supported and understood. Having been on both sides of this journey has been vital in the connection I have with my clients.
She is amazing and I couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you Cat, from the bottom of my heart!
